A Really Clean Civil War Martally Inspected Colt 1860 Army Revolver Serial Number 57xxx For 1862.

7 and 1/2 inch barrel. .44 caliber. All numbers are matching including the wedge. The barrel is a smooth bluish patina showing little wear and crisp New York address. Cylinder with good scene and good traces of pasty military blue in the rebated portion.

Pin safeties are flattened. Frame is very crisp with casehardening faded to gray. Brass triggerguard is very clean as is backstrap. Matching wedge with 45% original niter blue. Walnut grips are excellent with two lovely military inspector’s cartouches. The action is excellent and the bore is good. This a good, full dimension Colt 1860 martial Army revolver and presents very well.
