A Very Rare Wood Handled Variation #2 Ultra Late Japanese Samurai Type 95 NCO Sword Serial Number 300885 (Jinsen example the “3” is an overstrike) In Painted Wood Scabbard With Side Mounted Latch Circa July 1945.
26.5 serial numbered blade. with surface staining. The”Last Dtitch” mounts are excellent overall with nearly all their original painted finishes. “Pineapple” checkered wood grip with nearly all its original finish.
These ultra late war NCO swords are not only nearly impossible to find for sale but one in this exceptional original condition is truly a WWII Japanese militaria or sword collectors prize.
