    A Good Composite Pierced Cup Continental Rapier Circa 1660. 
36 and 3/4 inch diamond crossection blade with ricasso. 
The blade patinated but not corroded. The cup elaborately pierced throughout with engraved blossoms and entwined vines, The edge rolled and fluted. 10 and 1/4 inch quliions with trumpet finials. Spiral twisted wire bound wood grip with “Turk’s Heads”. Domed steel pommel. 
44 and 1/2 inches overall. Condition is fine throughout.
