A Highly Desirable Allen & Thurber Worcester “Dragoon” Pepperbox Standard Worcester Production, With Spur Triggerguard, 5 inch barrel cluster, Six shot .34 caliber. Manufactured between 1847 and 1854 with 1837 Patent Date.

The most collectible and sought after of the Allen pepperbox series. Successful competitor of the Paterson Colt revolver this is a large and handsome revolver. The condition is fine with much original brown finish on the barrels and perfect markings.

Finely engraved recoil shield. Very crisply engraved frame with no corrosion. Original grips with 90% original varnished finish. Very strong action. Fine bores. These Allen “Dragoons” are usually found well used and this one is one of the finest condition examples we have seen. 10 inches overall.
