A Very Fine And Long Ubu Shin Shinto Japanese Sword Katana Autograph Signature By The Artist Etchu Nobuyoshi Circa 1804. 28 and 1/8th inch hire tsukuri blade. Thick and complex suguha hamon. Masame hada. Fine polishing lines under the silver foil habaki.
Beautiful pristine condition nakago with kesho yasurime, ubu, one mekugi-ana. Full genuine signature in lovely calligraphy, “Suishin monnin Moro Nobuyoshi kitan kore”. Fine old large real samurai’s iron tsuba. Tsuka with Goto style fuchi kashira of shakudo nanako with gold blossom relief decoration. Shakudo menuki of good quality.
Fine old black roiro lacquer saya.
Condition of blade in good old polish with a few very minor areas of stain. All details are clearly visible.
This is a real heavy samurai’s katana totally free from kizu and in really fine condition. The length is ideal and the signature elegant and guaranteed genuine. Comes with origami.
