A Magnificent Shin Shinto Shobu Tsukuri Japanese Sword O Tanto Signed Nobuyuki.
Deeply curved 14 and 1/4 inch blade without ypkote line with superbly carved horimono of a flowering prunus blossom on omote and double bo hi on era. Exuberant and incredibly beautifully rendered choji midare hamon with areas of ashi floating down towards the ha. The hada of extremely fine itame. Solid silver habaki. The nakago is ubu with one mekugi-ana, signed and dated with yoko usuri in mint condition throughout.
The blade in full bright mint sashikomi polish with no kizu. Comes with fine quality Japanese shira saya. A robust and true work of the Japanese swordsmith's art this o-tanto cannot fail to dazzle the eye of any aficionado of nihon to.
