A Crisp Pair Of Brass Barrel And Frame Continental Flintlock Boxlock Blunderbuss Pocket Pistols Circa 1820.
Plain 4 and 5/8th inch round brass barrels. 80 caliber bores. No proof marks typical of these Continental flintlock pocket pistols. Brass frames engraved with trophy of arms. Steel boxlock hammer and frizzens, push on safeties.
Flattened figured walnut butts with incomplete silver wire inlay. One with perfect mechanism, the other with strong mainspring but needs trigger return spring. 9 inches overall. A handsome pair of blunderbuss pocket pistols.
