A Splendid And Rare Factory Engraved And Lushly Gold Inlaid French Galois Oddity Squeezer Pistol Circa 1895.

2 inch barrel with raised rib. Caliber 8mm short. The barrel inlaid with bright gold “GALOIS”, retains much bright bluing. The frame superbly and extensively engraved with scrolling foliage and blossoms. Additional gold inlay of logo “MANUFACTURE FRANCAIS ST ETIENNE ARMS ET CYCLES”.

Safety and firing position inlaid in gold. Action retains 95% brilliant color casehardening. Pearl grip with one chip. Bore is good and action works perfectly. This is a really deluxe example of this highly sought after and scarce oddity pistol. Condition is excellent throughout.
