An Extremely Fine And Rare True Spanish Brass Inlaid Ripoll Miquelet Belt Pistol Signed By Posquolo Feo Circa 1735.

7 and 1/8th inch barrel. .45 caliber. Superb “Spanish form” barrel with cannon muzzle, very finely chiseled “wedding band” two gold poincons below three punched crosses in excellent condition. Very fine patella lock with well chiseled fitments, beautifully signed by the maker “POSQUOLO FEO”.

Relief chiseled frizzen. Engraved brass inlaid triggerguard. Original long belt hook. The barrel tang finely engraved with foliage.

Figured walnut full stock inlaid throughout its length with classic engraved Ripoll brass inlaid including 3 inch long fore-end engraved with scrolling foliage in low relief. Action is excellent and bore is good.

This is one of the most attractive and fine condition Ripoll pistols you will ever come across.
