An Unusual And Rare Silver And Niello Mounted Caucasian Concealed Dagger Silver Hallmarked 84 Circa 1880.
6 and 1/4 inch single edged blade with fuller on each side. Beautiful hardwood grip with three bands of the most intricate multicolored marquetry work we have seen. The grip is capped with a fine niello decorated silver pommel with leather thong to allow the dagger to be removed from the scabbard,
The entire dagger is concealed within the black leather covered wooden scabbard with lovely niello chape and locket. Condition overall is excellent and most unusual. 14 inches overall in scabbard.
