Fine And Rare French ANXI Napoleonic War Heavy Cavalry Saber With Original Scabbard Dated July 1813

A Fine And Rare (Original For A Change) Napoleonic Heavy Cavalry Saber In Its Original Scabbard Dated July Of 1813. 

The massive 34 and 3/4 inch blade with wide single fuller extending nearly to the tip. 1 and 3/8th inches wide at forte. Engraved on spine “MF use (Manufacture) IMPial (Imperial) du Klingenthal Juliet 1813”. Blade has nearly all its original bright polish.

Three branch brass hilt with long langets. Well stamped in lozenges; “30”, “H” and most temptingly “B” (Boutet??). Leather wrapped grip in excellent condition.

This incredible Napoleonic survivor even retains its leather washer.  Original very heavy steel scabbard.

This is a rare and massive Napoleonic era saber with quality and condition to delight any serious sword collector.
